I'm a reader too. I prefer classic authors over anything modern. 1800s (and British)seems to be my sweet spot. I read a few different books at a time to always have something to go with my mood. Typically a novel, history, spiritual/Catholic, and something less serious. There's nothing like becoming emotional attached to a book!

Glad to know I am not the only one with 3 or more books going at any one time! Is there a name for us??? Who else has this talent?

I couldn’t agree with you more. There are even a couple of of them that I reach for repeatedly. And a good Catholic novel can be so enlightening, such as Rumer Godden’s ‘House of Brede’.

Adding that to my books-to-read list! May I live long enough to finish all the books on it, not to mention the unread books I've already purchased.
